Distance Learning
Distance learning programs with the Tennessee Aquarium are a great way to bring technology, science and live animals to your classroom. Most of our programs feature live animals presented by an Aquarium educator who will share information about the animals' characteristics, behavior, habitat and diet as they interact with your students. Programs are 45 minutes long with the last five minutes set aside for additional questions and answers. Learn more about our programs on our
Distance
Learning Programs Page.
Distance learning programs are $100 and can be scheduled Monday through Friday between Labor Day and Memorial Day. The following times are used for distance learning sessions: 9 a.m. EST, 1 p.m. EST and 3 p.m. EST. If an alternate time would work better for you and your class, ask to see if it is available. Sessions must be scheduled two weeks in advance. A test connection one day prior to your session will be scheduled to ensure a proper audio-visual connection.

Interactive Modules
Three different interactive modules give you activities to try out on your own – just like having your own “lab in nature.”
