Distance Learning

We offer distance learning sessions that feature animals! All distance learning sessions feature an Aquarium educator interacting with your class and answering questions about the topic. The animals are featured on camera and our programs cater to specific grade levels. Educators give background information and multimedia visuals for the animal and its species while encouraging questions from students. You can also use the distance learning sessions as a supplement to your lesson plan. We are willing to discuss particular needs for your group.

Distance learning sessions are offered via H.320 and H.323 standards and are conducted via a V-Tel Galaxy 755 and multi-point bridge. We have the ability to host eight remote sites at one time, but usually have only one or two.

If you have questions, please email Charles Hayslett or call 423-785-4094.
