LIFE SCIENCE PROGRAMS

The Tennessee Aquarium offers Life Science Programs to home school students each year. One day a month (from September through March) students visit the Aquarium for a two-hour class. The classes are based on national and state science standards and include hands-on experiments and inquiry. Classes are divided into grades (4-6 and 7-10) and the subject matter changes each year. This year’s subject is Marine Biology.

Tennessee Aquarium Home School Science Classes 2009 - 2010 Schedule:

Grades: Two separate classes (4th through 6th grade and 7th through 10th grade)

Dates: Second Tuesday of each month —
           September 8
           October 13
           November 10
           December 8
           January 12
           February 9
           March 9

Time: 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. each day

Cost: $70.00 per student for the year.
