Tennessee Aquarium visitors may be surprised to discover a wide variety of bird
species throughout River Journey and Ocean Journey. Look for them within the
sub-Antarctic chill of Penguins’ Rock, the temperate Cove Forest,
sultry Delta Swamp or sunny Tropical Cove and Butterfly Garden.
Our feathered friends, such as hyacinth macaws, diving ducks, colorful
partridges, native songbirds and playful penguins delight guests and help bring
our indoor exhibits to life in a much different way than the creatures that swim
